Coached accountability  ·  with RossBased

There is no Day 1.

A slip costs you the run. It has never cost you the count. This is the only accountability system built so that telling the truth doesn't send you back to zero.

$79/month founding rate, locked for as long as you stay. First month refundable. Application only. A real coach writes your protocol within 48 hours.

Ross doesn't coach you. He brought this to his audience and he's a member himself. The coaching is designed and delivered by Momentum's team. Exactly who does what →

01  ·  The pattern

You've done ninety days before. That's not the problem.

The problem is what happens on night forty-one, and what happens in the six minutes after.

01

You slip. It happens fast and it happens quiet, and the worst part arrives about ninety seconds later.

02

You open the app. The number is zero. Forty days, gone, like they were never days at all.

03

So you don't tell anybody. Why would you. There's nothing to report except a failure with a receipt attached.

04

That silence is what ends the run. Not the slip. Every attempt you've abandoned, you abandoned in the quiet part, days after the thing you're blaming.

05

Then a few weeks later you start again, from one, alone, using the same tool that punished you for being honest the last time.

02  ·  The film  ·  1:10

Seventy seconds. No claims, no shouting, nobody's transformation.

One unremarkable morning, and the thirty seconds inside it that decide whether the day gets recorded honestly or quietly disappears. It ends on the only sentence that matters.

First light through a bedroom window. A man sits on the edge of the bed, head down and hands together, in the minute before the day has decided anything.
00:00

A capable man at first light. Nobody in this film is broken, and nobody is being told to try harder. He already knows what to do. That was never the problem.

00:34

Thirty seconds, and a day gets sealed. Then a line drawn only from days that actually happened, bending slowly, the way a real one does.

01:04

"Not another app. A real coach." That is the whole argument, and it is the reason this page exists at all.

Nothing loads until you press play. If you would rather see the product than feel it, there is a two-minute walkthrough on the method page.

$79/month, locked for as long as you stay. First month refundable. Places capped at what the coaches can genuinely hold.

03  ·  The whole idea, in one screen

Two counts. Only one of them can be taken from you.

Every tracker you've used runs one number, and it deletes itself the moment you're honest. Momentum runs two. Try it. Press the hard button.

The run
41

Consecutive days you kept the protocol. It resets. It's supposed to.

The honest count
41

Days you told the truth, kept or not. It has never reset. It cannot.

Day 41. Both counts moving together, which is what a good week looks like.

Sample interaction. Nothing here is stored, and nobody sees this but you.

That's the product. The rest of this page is just detail, and you're welcome to it. $79/month, first month refundable.

This is not an app. An app has never once noticed you'd gone quiet.

You already tried the free ones. That's not a criticism, it's the reason you're reading this. A counter can't design your week, can't tell when your reasons have gone thin, and can't be disappointed in you. A person can do all three.

05  ·  How it runs

Three steps. Then you just show up.

STEP 01

A coach writes your protocol

Ten honest minutes about what you're actually trying to hold, and what's already failed. Within 48 hours a real person writes three to five daily actions, each with a cue and a reason it earns its place. Never twenty. Never a template.

Within 48 hours
STEP 02

They hold you to it every week

A weekly check-in on WhatsApp with a person who knows your name and your reasons. Miss the same thing three days running and you hear from them on the third day, not at the end of the month.

Every week
STEP 03

You seal the day in thirty seconds

Mark each item, write a line if you want to, seal it. Sealing is you saying: this is a true record. Only you and your coach ever see it. No feed, no leaderboard, nobody's business but yours.

Daily, 30 seconds
06  ·  The partnership  ·  read this bit

Two names on this page. Here is exactly who does what.

You're about to hand your week to somebody. You should know precisely who that is, who is paying whom, and who can see what. So we're going to be blunt about it rather than leave you to work it out.

RossBased

Ross

RossBased · the introduction
  • Brought this to his audience, because the same message kept landing in his inbox and he had no system to point at
  • Told Momentum what men in this corner of the internet actually need, and what they've already been sold
  • Is a member himself, with his own coach and his own protocol, and ran it before he said a word publicly
  • Earns a commission when somebody joins through this page
What Ross does not do
  • He does not coach you, and never will
  • He does not write or see your protocol
  • He never sees a single day of your log
  • He is not told who applied, who joined, or who left. He sees a number, not a name
Momentum

Momentum

The coaching and the technology
  • Designs and delivers every part of the coaching, with its own trained and paid coaches
  • Reads your application and matches you to a person within 48 hours
  • Builds and runs the dashboard, the two counts and the escalation that fires on a third miss
  • Holds your data, under Momentum's own privacy policy, and deletes it if you ask
  • Takes your payment, answers your emails, and issues the refund if the first month doesn't work
Where the responsibility sits
  • If the coaching is poor, that is Momentum's failure and Momentum's to fix
  • Founded by Calvin Kudzai. Coaching, not medical or mental-health treatment

Your coach

The person you'll actually deal with
  • One named human being, trained by Momentum, who holds a deliberately limited caseload so you are never a row on a list
  • Writes your three to five daily actions, and rewrites them every week as your life moves
  • Messages you on the third consecutive miss, the same day, not at the end of the month
  • Is the only person on earth who sees your log
Worth knowing
  • Not a therapist. Trained to say so early and refer you on if that's what you need
  • Not Ross, and not an algorithm wearing a name

The money, plainly. Ross is paid a commission on members who join through this page, and it costs you nothing extra. His own coaching is free for as long as the partnership runs. That is the entire commercial relationship, there is nothing else attached to it, and it is written at the bottom of every page on this site rather than tucked into terms nobody opens.

07  ·  The four rules

Four rules do the work. They're enforced, not suggested.

Rule one

Seal it, or it didn't happen

Ticking a box is not a commitment. Sealing the day is you putting your name to it: this is what actually happened. Only sealed days count toward either number. Seal it, or it leaks.

Rule two

The honest count never resets

Two numbers. The run is consecutive days you kept the protocol, and a slip ends it. The honest count is consecutive days you told the truth, and nothing ends it except lying. Own a bad night and one resets while the other climbs. Hide it and you lose both.

Rule three

Yesterday closes

You can log today and yesterday. Older days lock and only your coach can reopen one. No rewriting last week to make the grid look better than the week was.

Rule four

Your coach holds the pen

Only your coach adds, changes or removes something from your protocol. You choose what you're aiming at. They design how you get there. The man who set this on day one and the man who wants to renegotiate on night forty are not the same man, and only one of them gets a vote at 2am.

Four rules, one coach, thirty seconds a day. Ten honest minutes to apply.

08  ·  From Ross

Why I put my name on this one.

I've been making videos about this for years, and the same message shows up in my inbox every single week. Not "how do I start." Almost nobody asks me that. It's "I was at day sixty, I slipped, and now I can't make myself begin again."

I never had a good answer. I'd tell them what I always tell them, that it's predictable, that it's about what you do next. Which is true, and which is also not a system. You can't hand a man a mindset and call it help.

What was missing was a person. Not a group, not a forum, not another app with a number on it. One person who knows what you said you'd do, looks at whether you did it, and comes back to you about it whether the week went well or not.

So I went looking, and I found a team already building exactly that. Let me be as clear as I can be about this, because I don't want anybody confused. I am not your coach. I will never be your coach. I didn't build the technology, I don't train the coaches, and I will never see a single day of your log. Momentum does all of it. What I did was tell them what men in this corner of the internet actually need, and then run the thing myself before I said a word about it in public.

Two things I'll be straight about, because you'd find out anyway and I'd rather you heard it from me.

I get paid if you join. That's the arrangement. It's also why I only did this once, with one company, after using it myself, instead of the four supplement deals in my inbox this month.

And this makes no claims about your body. Nothing here is going to tell you what your testosterone is doing or what your energy field looks like. That's not what this is. Your reasons for doing this are yours and you don't have to justify them to anybody. This is about one thing only: whether you actually do what you said, and whether you tell the truth about it when you don't.

That's it. If that's useful, the door's open. It's $79 a month and that rate is yours for as long as you stay.

09  ·  The obvious objection

Keep it private. That was never the same thing as keep it secret.

You don't broadcast this. You shouldn't. It's nobody's business, it loses something the moment it becomes content, and half the men who post their day count are performing rather than practising.

But private and secret are two different words, and the gap between them is where every attempt you've made has died. Secret means nobody knows. Nobody knows means nobody notices. Nobody notices means the only thing holding it up is how you happen to feel on a Tuesday.

One person. Trained, unshockable, paid to notice, and bound to say nothing to anyone. That's not exposure. That's the minimum viable witness.

  • One coach sees your log. That is the complete list of people who see it.
  • No feed, no community, no leaderboard. There is nothing to post and nobody to perform for.
  • Your dashboard isn't indexed and its link works like a password.
  • Nothing goes to Ross. He doesn't see who signed up, and he never sees a single day of anybody's log.
  • You can leave and take nothing with you but the habit. Cancel any time, no conversation required.
10  ·  Fit

We'd rather turn you away than take your money and underdeliver.

This is for you if

  • You've held a long run before, so you know it's possible. Holding it isn't the question. Restarting is.
  • You've used the free trackers and stopped opening them.
  • You want one person watching, not a forum.
  • You'll tell the truth on a bad night, which is the entire ask.
  • You've got more going on than this one thing, and you want the rest of the week structured too.

This isn't for you if

  • You want to be told what abstinence does to your hormones. We don't make those claims and we won't start.
  • You want a blocker. Buy a blocker, they're good at that and they cost less.
  • You're looking for treatment for a compulsion that's affecting your work, your safety or your relationships. That needs a clinician and we'll help you find one.
  • You want to log twenty things. Three to five, or this doesn't work.
  • You want somebody to be hard on you. That's not what a good coach does and it's never once worked.
11  ·  What we claim

We make one claim, and it isn't about your body.

This corner of the internet is not short of promises. You've heard what this supposedly does to your testosterone, your presence, your luck. We're not going to add to that pile, and we're not going to argue with it either. Your reasons are yours.

What we will never tell you

That this changes your hormones. That it changes how strangers respond to you. That it changes your luck, your timeline or your frequency. That there's science behind any of it. We don't know, most of it isn't established, and a service that sells you certainty it doesn't have is a service that will lie to you about other things too.

What we will do

Put one trained person on the handful of things you said you'd do daily. Design them properly. Watch the week. Notice when it slips. Change the plan when the plan is wrong. And make sure that on the night you break your word, the honest version costs you far less than the hidden one. That's the entire product, and we can stand behind every word of it.

12  ·  The offer

One price. One real coach. No tiers, no upsells, nothing to configure.

The founding rate is locked for as long as you stay. Not for a year, not until we "review pricing." For as long as you stay.

For scale
A habit app$5–20
Noom, month to month$70
Momentum, founding$79
Online coaching with a human$100–300
One session with a life coach$100–200

More human than Noom. Less than a single session with a coach. That gap is the entire argument and it is the only price comparison on this page that matters.

Founding rate · with RossBased
$79/month

Locked for as long as you stay · standard rate $99

Or $790 a year, which works out at about two months free. Same coach, same weekly rhythm. Your first month is refundable if you showed up and it didn't work, and showed up just means you sealed your days.

  • A real coach, matched to you, within 48 hours of your application being read
  • Three to five daily actions, written for your week, not copied from anyone else's
  • A private dashboard with both counts on it
  • A weekly check-in with a person, on WhatsApp or SMS, whichever you actually use
  • Rewritten every week as your life changes, which it will
  • An honest answer if we don't think we can help you, before you've spent anything

13  ·  Straight answers

The questions you're actually asking

Is Ross my coach?

No. This one matters so here it is without hedging: Ross does not coach anybody, has never coached anybody through Momentum, and will not see your name, your protocol or a single day of your log. Your coach is a trained person employed by Momentum, and you will know their name before you log your first day. Ross brought this to his audience and he is a member of it himself. That is the whole of his involvement.

Is this just a sponsored ad?

Ross earns a commission if you join. He's said so on this page, in the video and in the description, because you'd have found out anyway and burying it would be the only genuinely dishonest thing available here. He's also a member with his own coach and his own protocol, which is the part that took longer to arrange than the commission did.

Why would I pay for something a free app does?

You already used the free app. It sent you to zero on your worst night and you stopped opening it. What you're paying for isn't the tracking, which is genuinely worth about nothing. It's the person reading your week and rewriting it, and a system where being honest doesn't cost you everything you built.

Do I have to talk about the specifics?

No. Your coach needs to know what you committed to and whether you did it. The details are yours. Most men write one line on a hard day and nothing at all on an ordinary one, and that's enough for the work to happen.

What actually happens when I slip?

You mark it missed and you seal the day. Your run goes to zero and your honest count goes up by one. It shows in steel grey, never red, and nobody will tell you that you've broken anything. If the same thing goes three days running, your coach messages you on the third day, because a protocol you keep missing is a badly designed protocol, not a character flaw.

Is this therapy?

No, and we'll say so plainly rather than blur it. Momentum is coaching. If what you're dealing with is affecting your work, your safety, your relationships or your mental health, you want a clinician, and your coach is trained to say that early and help you find one rather than keep you on the books. There is no version of this where we hold onto somebody who needs more than we do.

Can I pause?

Yes. Tell your coach. We'll pause the billing and freeze both counts, so you come back to what you left instead of a wall of missed days.

Who sees my log?

Your coach. That's the list. Not Ross, not other members, not a feed, and the page itself isn't indexed by search engines. Your dashboard link works like a password, so treat it like one.

What if it doesn't work for me?

Your first month is refundable if you showed up and it genuinely didn't work. Showed up means you sealed your days, honestly, for the month. We are not going to argue with you about it or run you through a retention script.

Start today. Even if today was a write-off.

Especially if today was a write-off. The first sealed day is the one that matters, and a sealed miss counts for more than an unsealed win.
